Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS Physical Therapy) is one of the largest physical therapy groups in Southwest Idaho, with over 15 clinics stretched from Boise to eastern Oregon. It also resides in a very competitive business environment with dozens of other physical therapy companies marketing to the same customer base.

The Challenge

Maximize STARS’ marketing budget by reaching the largest audience possible in the Treasure Valley.

The Solution

Visual String rebuilt STARS’ website to improve performance in Google search. We also identified a dozen key competitive terms and structured the website’s navigation and content leverage these terms. In search, they went from rarely appearing on page one of Google search to consistently placing in the top 10 searches for their market. Also, by strategically broadening their content, we helped greatly increase their audience by being both a physical therapy service and a source for health information.

Walter Knox Memorial Hospital went through a major brand adjustment in 2015 to rebuild their brand behind a new name: Valor Health. The brand change emphasized their commitment to their community as a locally focused hospital. Once they made the change, they used Visual String to help maintain the website with technical and content adjustments to continue to keep their brand relevant.

1440 Multiversity is a new idea in personal learning that provides a place for holistic learning that engages the mind, body, and heart. 1440 provides classes that challenge people to find a new way to live their lives and manage their business.

The Challenge

Launch a brand new concept in corporate retreats without calling it a retreat center.

The Solution

Visual String researched a number of competing programs and found a series of keywords that helped establish the business. We then helped staff modify landing pages to highlight those keywords while building a strong brand awareness campaign in Google AdWords that helped build the brand and associate “multiversity” with more known terms that people were searching. The result was that in nine months, “1440 multiversity” went from 0 searches to the top ranked search in its category.

Pacific Raceways is one of the nation’s largest drag racing venues, and the largest in the NorthWest. Each year, the track hosts the regional NHRA National competition and brings tens of thousands of visitors to the local area.

The Challenge

Ensure a small website can handle over 15,000 page views for just one weekend.

The Solution

Generally, Pacific Raceways’ website only sees about 100 visitors a day. During their NHRA weekend, daily visitors climb to over 15,000. To handle that load on a WordPress website, we streamlined their design to ensure the lowest footprint possible and implemented a number of different caching schemes. The result in 2018 was no downtime and an average “time to load” at just 2 seconds per page.

James Castle is one of Idaho’s most known artists. Within the “alternative artist” genre, he’s considered one of the top 10 most notable artists in the world. His collection of art, prints and books is located in Boise Idaho and managed by a private company that includes art enthusiasts, writers and managers dedicated to celebrating his work.

The Challenge

Create a website that helps highlight the work of James Castle.

The Solution

Over a nine month period, Visual String worked with the James Castle group to design a website that used simple website technology to highlight the work of James Castle. Because it is intended to market his work, the website was designed to reach art galleries and communicate his art to people in search of specific James Castle works.

The Idaho Health Care Association markets and trains health care providers for the elderly in Idaho. Besides their monthly training sessions and yearly conventions, they also manage a national grant to generate more interest in the field of certified nursing assistants.

The Challenge

Market a grant to both health care facilities and prospective employees.

The Solution

Visual String used a combination of search engine optimization techniques and paid online marketing to drive interest in their CNA grant program. We created separate landing pages and separate ad campaigns to reach different audiences and help the industry find more qualified candidates for open CNA positions. We also helped them win a grant from Google that earned them over $10,000 per month in free advertising. The group has used the funds to build out a campaign that’s much larger than what otherwise would be allowed with their previous budget.
